CAW Active Leisure Centres
The mobile application is a tool to promote the Małopolska Region in Poland in the context of active leisure. The application is a response to the need of residents and tourists to increase the level of the utilization of the cultural and natural heritage of the region by launching innovative products and solutions in tourism. The application presents running and cycling trails built as a part of the CAW Active Leisure Centres project, as well as other trails in the Małopolska Region, whose administrators would like to join the CAW project. A calendar of events aiming to promote sport and active leisure activities will be created in the region. The application has functionalities such as activities / leisure planner, maps showing interesting tourist places and nature along with the cycling and running trails with their photos and description, users geolocation, information and interesting facts about the region.
The application provides easy access to local offers and attractions due to using new technologies, which allow the effect of scale achievement - more tourists visiting the region. Using the application develops the tourism industry competitiveness and builds new value for tourists by offering an attractive package of tourist services.
